someone selling electricity deals- simply choice

Just received an unsolicited call from this number. Confirming I will be blocking this number as well. This website is extremely useful for identifying unwanted cold calls. Thanks to everyone who contributes to it.

Caller took awhile to answer after I picked up and said 'hello'. Then she said 'Hello, my name is Jennifer and I am calling regards your electricity bill." I said "Okay, and?" and she said "And when ever you pay on time, you will get a 20% discount." That's it. Poor attempt even for a scam, didn't even mention a company name, so I said "So you are Jennifer and you wanted to let me know I'll be getting a discount on my electricity bill?" and she said 'Yes.' So I said "Okay thank you" and hung up.

Called 4 times today and hanging up straight away

Told caller I didn't pay bills and the caller hung up.

The caller hangs up when you answer.

3 missed calls today and every day this week. Thanks for leaving your comments - I will be blocking this caller.

17 missed calls in 2 weeks. I refuse to answer.

Have called me 3 times in the last 3 hours. I don't know what it is but I have had about 5 scam calls about "saving on my energy" from "different companies" in the last week, I'm SO OVER IT

they called me twice today. Unknown number, I thought it would be a scam so I didn't answer and I blocked it later on

Woman called 'Wanda' from unknown electricity company telling me that because I pay my electricity bills on time I'm entitled to a 20% discount. I said sorry you must have the wrong person because I'm always paying late fees. Poor thing really needs to work on her scamming skills....hang up or block. Don't even bother calling the number back.

Have now blocked the number
