called several times, no one there, then a computer voice "goodbye" why do they do this?

Told them to fu++ off.
Called after the 'allowed' time and even got my name wrong!

2 calls today wanting to make offers of cheap power. Obviously a call centre from overseas with workers with central asian accents, they knew my first name. Advised them where to go.

Called me today. Looks like spam. BLOCKED

HOW DO THEY KNOW THIS??
But then ask what my quarterly bill is . told them none of their business and hung up blocked number.

Very hard to understand person speaking with think accent and yelling into phone but something about comparing electricity rates and goving discounts? They had wrong address and could not explain who they are or how they got my details. I told not interested and operator kept talking
Could not explain who or what selling operator kept stating about compating rates but had wrong details for me ... may be a scam
