This caller claimed he was from Sydney Claims Lawyers when pushed. Said it was in relation to a relative of mine who had been rear ended at a set of traffic lights. Couldn't tell me the name of my relative and when pushed gave me some dodgy rego number and state of registration of the offending vehicle. Told him no relative of mine had been rear ended in the past 6 months. Should have strung him along more! Perhaps he was after my bank account details so that he could deposit the compensation - not likely!
