SCAM!

SPAM caller. Returned the call from another number and got the following message "Your call cannot be completed at this time". I blocked them. Time wasters.

Caller: OBC Optus Business Centre

OBC is OPTUS BUSINESS Centre , calling old prospects, but refusing to say they are from a Optus Franchise, total Scam

Caller: HANNAH FROM OBC

CALLED SAYING THEY SPOKE TO SOMEONE A FEW WEEKS AGO- COULDN'T RECALL A NAME THOUGH. ASKED TO SPEAK TO ACCOUNTS MANAGER- CHALLENGED THEM ASKING IF IT WAS A COLD CALL, THEY SAID NO- WHICH IS PROBABLY NOT LEGAL IF THEY ACTUALLY ARE.

SCAM Caller, keeps calling our office. She is rude and wont leave any details.

Got call today but did not answer abd there was no message left.

Asked for our Director. Did not want to leave contact name or number for a call back.

Caller: Scam - OBC (Optus Business Centre)

They say they are from OBC.
Have recieved a call from these guys every few months.
Wanted to talk to us about our current contract (We are with Telstra)

Claims to be calling from 'OBC'. Wants to speak to manager but will not leave a message or talk to anyone else, and will instead call back later.

Said she was from NBN requesting information on how many landlines and how many business mobiles we had connected because they were doing some work.
In hindsight, if they truly were from NBN they wouldn't need to know this information.
Assume like someone else they are gathering information that they can use to harass us later.

Caller: Claimed to be on behalf of the NBN

Claimed to be on behalf of the NBN, planning their backhaul services and wanted to know how many landline and mobile services we have.

Caller: Supposed to have been someone from Optus

They wanted to discuss our business accounts with them and scheduled a day and time. They didn't show up. Upon reflection when they were trying to schedule an appointment, it took approx. 5 phone calls and every phone call they got our telephone details wrong. Now I think they were merely phishing for information on our business.

Said she was from Optus Business. Said she had us listed as contracted to Telstra ( but we've been with Optus for for more than 12 years). Asked her to wait a minute & she was gone. Sounded very suspect to me.

Caller wanted to speak to someone about our Telstra and mobile phone accounts. Said she had spoken to someone before but couldn't remember their name. I asked what the matter concerned and she wouldn't elaborate so I suggested she try and remember who she spoke to before calling again.
