A guy just called me to ask if insurance line could call me in a few days I repeatedly said no my parents manage that and he hung up saying f*cking idiot. I am so appalled that someone would be so rude when they are the one interrupting my day!

I had a call from 85996347 and he said he was from some company and I told him I wasn't interested and he responded in a rude tone "in what" as i hung up. I got a call straight back all I heard was a group of people laughing then the same guy saying "your a d*ck" and then he hung up on me.

'Adam' calked today, accused me of being rude when I asked whh he was calling, then tried to go into his spiel which is wouldn't listen to until hejdentigiedwhh he was calling. Said he was from end to end Australia. An absolute fool of a pom.

My mum used to get phone call like these a while ago on her mobile and our home phone. It was annoying because they would never answer.
For the past two days I have been doing overnights at work and it gets annoying when two different numbers call me just for this crap.
Ofcourse I didn't answer but I think I am just going to play around with them like I did last time. Put on an accent and told them they had the wrong number. They still tried to sell me stuff. But I just acted confused.
I don't understand how they have my number though.

Adam just rang on this number - and when I said I was at work, and don't often pick up unknown caller ID's, he then replied he "could have told me the entire speech already" - and he hung up on me - CLASSIC!!! And so very rude!

When you call back it just says 'we work for a number of Australian companies and we will call you back soon'. Sketchy.

They rang again just now.. now that Im aware its a telemakketer Ill do what I did in NZ once..said no Im sorry but Johns not on this number anymore and to try ......gave them the number for Govt dept of Fair Trading..I often wonder how they got on as The calls did stop

Call was from a fellow with a British accent trying to sell funeral insurance (at 9:30am on a Monday morning no less). After saying no, the call progresses to selling insurance in general. The guy then tries to extract as much personal information out of you as you'll provide.

I wouldn't both answering it. If you have an Android phone, just put the number on auto reject and forget about it.

Adam called me today too. He hung up after thanking me for asking how his day was as well. Hilarious, never had a telemarketer hang up on me before. To be fair he saved himself wasted effort. Not sure how much career longevity he will have but good luck to him.
