I take great delight in answering the phone, then when they ask for the person in charge of "whatever", I say "certainly, just a minute".
And then I put the phone down (as if I'm fetching the person in charge) and wait until they get bored enough to hang up.
The last one waited 5 or 6 minutes and I could hear her saying "hello? hello? is anyone there" throughout. Bonus!

Im on the do not call register but they call anyway. I entered an online competition a few days ago and have had unrelated calls from 4 different numbers in 2 hours.

why is it i blocked a number but they still call me?

Don't know who this is, but getting a lot of calls from this number.

Commander is calling - they are a sh*t house company I have dealt with before, they will rip you off at every opportunity, continue to charge you on cancelled contracts and services and remain completely unhelpful in regards to customer service. If you can waste as much of their time as possible or send them deaf with an umpire's whistle down the phone, they drop you from the list pretty fast once that happens.

If you have to ring Commander for tech help DO NOT give them your personal phone number as an alternative number "in case you get cut off".
I was stupid enough to do this. Even though I told them it was my personal number not a work one, they still passed my number on to their marketing call centre.
I am on the do not call register, I am not a customer of theirs so technically they have broken the law.

This was weird, I had a lady ring from this number, said HI this is just a test call, thank you for answering, bye. All polite and everything but was really strange lol

Don't answer, they're scam and usually call outside business hours because clearly it's overseas scam,
They have my name and after I asked them genteelly to remove my record and not call again, I found my email smashed with spam. I have to delete my email now f*ck them

Found out they were Commander...stay away from these people the are not human.
