Had a call this afternoon from (02) 8524 5994. I answered and they hung up. I called the number back and their ringing on behalf of the NSW Rural Fire. If you call 1300 886 067 and ask to be taken of the list.

getting nuisance calls no one speaking. Haven't called back have just called do not call register hope they can help

On my unlisted phone, received a call from this number, couldn't translate the accent, but it was certainly no-one to whom I had given my number.

Addon to my previous message - just called the number again and got a message "Our Fundraising Department tried to call you we will call again later".  Wouldn't have a clue who it is as they didn't identify themselves.  I'm going to ring my provider and see if I can block them.  I'll let you know how it goes.

I am also getting numerous calls from this number and hang ups when I pick up.  I try to call back and get the message this number is not available.  Also having an issue where they're obviously not hanging up properly and it's causing me to have problems getting a dial tone.  Have to disconnect my phone and plug in an old analogue phone so I can call out.  Very very annoying!!!  Does anyone know how I can stop this happening.

Got a missed call from (02) 8524 5994. When I called back I got the message "Our fund raising team has recently tried your number. We will try again soon."

Same as nzr - I also got a call from this number.  Called back and got the fundraising message.
