Ring and ring and then stop when I'm almost to the phone, very annoying for a disabled pensioner with mobility issues

I have received a number of calls from this number. The latest being this morning. I then rang the 1300 number for the SESVA. They did advise that they do have a separate fundraising arm as they are too small to do it themselves. She could not advise what phone number the fundraisers call from.

I provided her with the number and advised her of my concerns relating to how the cold callers act. I requested that if the number is either legitimate or illegitimate, the SESVA should place a notification on their Web page to advise of the status of the number and if it is indeed connected with fundraising on their behalf or not!

Answered gave me the spiel of ses volunteers association. When I asked how he got my number stated " randomly generated mate. Then hung up on me.

The only way to deal with nuisance calls is get yourself a caller ID phone and pay a little extra to your phone company to indicate caller ID. When you see these numbers calling, usually beginning 028 you get to know them and dont pick up. Same thing with PRIVATE - you dont pick up. If you think you can get phone company to block these numbers, forget it, they will not.

SES fund raiser, or so they say. Have called me every week day for months.

Said they were from SES raising funds. Told them I had asked before to be taken off their list as I have no income. Caller apologised. Don't know if it's legit or not.

very ANNOYING

State Emergency Services... I assume chasing donations. I don't give money to random people on the phone no matter who they "say" they are.

Continually call and hang up when answer. Sick and tired of having to put up with this crap.

Called and no answer and then immediately called my mobile and I didn't answer. No msg left.
