They will tell you that you’ve won a holiday and you need to pay $200 they just want your email address and credit card details

Saying I had won a trip to Florida. Sounded too good to be true, googled this number while on the phone and found this site. Thanks for the details, I then hung up on the caller.

So, I won a TRIP TO FLORIDA!!
I missed the call, But on calling back, the scammer answered my call immediately, within a second, mentioning my first name and date of birth. So they are probably using a decent call management system and have a whole lot of info out there about us. Her accent was that of a Pinoy. She wanted my partner to come on the phone and get some details. When she realised that the bluff was called, she abruptly canned the conversation, said good bye and hung up.

Advised I entered a competition via Facebook, trip to Florida. They knew my DOB. But I'm not on Facebook.

You can add them to your blocked numbers, even on your mobile phone. That works !!

Caller said they were calling from Universal saying I had won a trip that I registered online on Facebook. She tried to confirm my DOB. Apparently I had registered my interest through one of their travel websites. If it were legit then they’d be able to see the record of which website. Also I’ve worked for a call centre before. If you interrupt their spiel, they will rush like heck to get back to their SCRIPT. Which is what she did. Definite scam. Do not trust.

Got the "You won a Universal Studio trip to Orlando" and aren't I excited about it, that apparently I entered via Facebook which hadn't and told him this but he kept going. I had won 2 tickets access, flights and accommodation free, but I could add people 3 and 4. He had my DOB and email address which he got from Facebook. He also talked over me and then announced that they I also could stay additional nights in Mexico? Also. He then went to check on the authorization ref number, and put me on hold so I hung up he called me back I didn't answer and blocked the number. I googled number while on phone and asked him where he was from again he said Florida I then asked him a couple of times he just kept talking, why he was calling from a Sydney number he hesitated then said the number was routed through that number to make the call cheaper B.S.

the lady just called me a minutes ago, and talking to set up an internet account for me, I said to her that I don't need it, she insisted that she has already set up for me, didn't listen to what I said. what is the law?

SCAM. They called to tell me i had won a trip for two to Florida. Had my name and date of birth. Almost sounded legit but i hung up on them and checked. Yes it is a scam.

Scam. Rang my number and knew my name. Said I had won a package to Florida. Told them they had the wrong number. Blocked.

would like to know how they by pass blocked numbers!!!! scammers!!!
