Said documents I sent on application for credit card wasn't acceptable and wanted payslips, notice of assessment or 3 months of bank statement on PDF instead. The line was not clear and there was an echo. I received a text from Amex at the same time of call asking for a few more documents for my credit card application.

Calls started a day after an amex card application.

Confirmed AMEX with a call back through their main 1300 557 743 number and they confirmed a callback 10min prior.

Said the documents I had sent through on my application for a credit card weren’t “acceptable” and I needed to send in my tax assessment and superannuation details.

Been calling me everyday is this even legal?? Its actually American express and i told them many times im not interested and they keep pushing

No Message. Why? If I receive any more it will go to spam.

Probably American express as most say. I did apply and got a missed call a day after. I havent called back

this number called identified themselves as American express wanting me to id myself!!!!

I said I would take a message and the person would call them back rang 1300 368 633 the number they gave me and the number which showed up on my phone (02) 8326 9104 both of them went to voice mail American Express..... then some music..... then two options for which cards......... so not sure as this person does have an American Express card?!
