i have received countless calls from this number in the last few weeks and i finally answered the phone yesterday, the woman in the phone told me she is from amp, then i have been asked to give my dob, address to prove that she is speaking with the right person and i really did told her those informations although i did hesitate, SILLY STUPID ME! i dont know what to do now and i am really really scared, should i call the police for this? please help people, please.

I'm an AMP client. Just received yet another unsolicited call from this number. After, reading the posts on this site, I phoned AMP. As others have commented, AMP confirms it is actually a registered phone number for their company. I'm appalled that a large corporate financial institution has such an unprofessional department apparently handling super searches. When calls are received from this number to my mobile, the name of the person they ask for is definitely not me. They have been told they have the wrong number and asked not to call back. The callers have NEVER identified themselves as representing AMP. If this is truly AMP calling, they need to straighten out their database and employ professional staff and service procedures. AMP Senior management needs to take a hard look at this. I'm not convinced this "department" isn't dodgy!!

Scam. A woman claiming to be Piper from AMP regarding my super. I asked which policy number is it in regards to and then she hung up.

Received 2 missed calls from this Number. I called back and the person who answered advised I had called AMP, I didn't enquire any further why I had been called. My Super is through AMP but I certainly didn't request any calls from them.

AMP Super Search, felt like a scam, so i told them nothing, very friendly guy, but felt wrong, googled the ph number, and found i wasnt the only one who received a call, be aware ppl!

Just had a call from this number. The person hung up when I answered. I phoned it back and get music, and then what sounded like a male person on the other end, not saying anything and then hanging up.

Got calls regular in week and every time I pick up the phone they hang up. Today some one actual spoke saying he is from AMP and want my consent to check my lost supper with any super companies. but I said no and thanks then end of disscussion

After reading the comments on this number I called AMP corporate super customer service team to find out if there was anything going on with my account and follow up on the call. The lady transferred me to the fraud team who advised AMP will always send a text with a reference and telephone number to call and never leave an automated telephone message. The fraud team advised this was a scam

I keep getting calls from this frickin number and any time I answer they hang up. IF, as some above have suggested, it is about consolidating superannuation, IGNORE IT - YOU CAN FIND (and consolidate) ANY LOST SUPER *FOR FREE* VIA THE ATO WEBSITE.

just had a call from this number. didn't believe they were from AMP so I went on the website and found the return number, called back and they offered to make sure all my super accounts were up to date and that i didn't have any outstanding accounts I wasn't aware of, I accepted the offer because it was free and sure enough receieved a message with a couple of lost accounts that I didn't know about. Not a scam just a free service

I definitely do NOT have super with AMP and never have done! My name is not Jackie as they keep referring to me in text messages and I have never asked them to call me as they claim I have. I asked them to stop calling me. After receiving yet another call after midnight I have blocked the number!!!

Receive a voicemail from this company with AMP recording. Do not answer this call. Block the number it is a scam.

Received a missed call from (02) 8318 4613. I called the number and there was a recorded AMP message before being transferred to someone. AMP is offering a free service to find your missing super. Its listed on their website as a contact number

Same situation. Answered the call and then hang up on me straight away. I don't it is anything to do with AMP cost centre. It's a spam.

Even I received a call from this number and the lady asked me for personal info.
Thankfully I was aware of such scams and I didn't provide any.
