They rang everyday on mobile almost at the same time. Tried to ring back but only music.

I think you will find that this is a Telemarketing company which operates TechPond, which is just a different name used by:

This number claims to be a company on behalf of west pac.
They ask to confirm personal details.
I said no and rang Wespac. They have no knowledge of this number and said it is more than likely a scam.

They called in behalf of westpac asking for personal details. I told that i never give any personal details through the phone and they hang up.

I called back number (02) 8318 4610 was put on hold music but no one answered the call.

The music goes for a while but eventually they answer.
They say they are from a company called TeakPond (cant find any info on it) on behalf of Westpac, and they want to speak to you about things westpac sent out to you.
They claim their address is
Level 1/ 219-241 Cleveland St, Strawberry Hills, NSW 2010

However there is a post office at that address not their company.

they are not part of Westpac..do not give anymore than your first name and your number to them to tell them to stop calling you

They ring everyday. Goes to music when call back. If you have an iphone, you can add them as a contact, (called annoying scammer) then block them so you never get called again

Tried to call this number back... It didn't even ring... just went to music. Suspect Scam.

Must be another scam, so similar to another scam num 80695147: attempt to get your personal details and only music when rang back. I blocked both numbers.

They]ve called me in the past 3 days. They claim to be Westpac and trying to sell me good credit card offers.

This number rang every day, when I answered they just simply hung up.

Got missed called from this number twice this morning. Called back but just music on the other end.

Called during office hours.

I don't bother to answer but am annoyed at constant calling - every day!!!!!! will block number

I got a call from the same number (02) 8318 4610. I didn't know it, and didn't answer, looked on here and lo and behold, scammers...funny that _ NOT.
I don't call numbers back I don't know just in case. I search for it then see.....

They rang, I answered, they hung up

Not too sure if it is a scam, called Westpac and told them what these guys were offering and they said its true.
I responded with "Then why the hell do you want to know my license number, how much I earn, residence, credit card number etc, that's scam written all over it". And she said "These items are required and we do them over the phone for convenience but there's nothing to worry about, I can see an application here was opened up today for you at 10am when we called, so it was from Westpac and the credit card with 0% interest for 18 months is correct"

It is an outsourced company working for westpac how ever, I don't care what anyone says, never give details online. If you do, lock your account to prevent anyone from opening them up in your name, and to let your bank know immediately.

Keep getting missed calls from this number have never answered or rang back now I know not to and I've blocked the number.

They say they are from a company called TeakPond (cant find any info on it) on behalf of Westpac, and they want to speak to you about new credit card deal westpac sent out to you (which was something i got in the mail about 2-3 weeks before. they seem to have all my details already, i made sure i gave them nothing, but they seem to have everything, address, name, birthday, and full name.
they weren't good at selling it or they flew over alot of stuff. and were don't happy when i didn't want to do it.
looked up the address and there is a post office at that address not their company.
which is weird as they wanted me to send my request for audio copy.

Called westpac not a registered number! Block the number definitely a scam!
