I called back the number (02) 8317 1485 and reached vm but couldn't hear the company name

Long silence and then a female Indian voice: "Hello, my name is <I forget>. I am calling you about <missed what it was>"
I put the phone next to the radio and she was gone shortly afterwards.

Missed a call from this number. I called back and the voicemail message was a robot voice with an accent that said something like "regarding sales and marketing". Seemed fishy.

I answered call. They asked to speak to me by name and when I asked who was calling they hung up.

Caller said it was for a rebate program and asked if I owned any property, when I said no they said ok thanks yeah.

Didn't answer, a voicemail was left. Seem to be partial where, started with " however we are going to disconnect your landline and internet connection in your area as nbn services are now available in your locality, so interrupted services, please press one to get yourself connected to the technician"

Scam.

Received a call from this number that was from Sydney, NSW. I didn’t pick up. Had a voicemail so listened to it, it was just something breathing heavily for 20 seconds. Very bizarre. Do not pick up these calls. The police should do something about calls like this which interfere with our daily lives.

Calling me during work and i know its these bullsh*t scammer c*nts so i dont pick up

I missed the call but I have had other times where they have called me, they said I had electricity and gas bills overdue and I told them I don't even own a house I still too young to have a house and also told them to f**k off you scamming B***h. They hung up pretty quick after that.

Scam/Marketing

This number has called a couple of times always around dinner time. I did answer as I was waiting for an urgent ( medical call back ) attempted to tell the Indian gentlemen I'm waiting for an urgent call, took no notice and asked me if he could interest me re: Solar.

Scam roaches

Called my partners work phone many times, I didn’t realise it was a scam of some sorts until I called back and pressed 9, however they have called this number a lot even after talking with them explaining I don’t own my house and offered me some assistance for that I hung up instantly still calling back though.

Indian gentlemen who knew my name. Asked if I was a Vic home owner. Then said regarding Victorian Government. Scheme. Apparently re solar panels.

Answered. They hung up after 5 seconds silence.
