Some guy calling about home loan and mortgage payments.. spam caller

over 6 calls in the last 2 days, not sure as the answering machine picks it up and they don't leave a message.

this number called at 1.50pm, 83171160 called at 3.51pm, 8317 1165 at 5.30pm, 83171162 at 7.22pm, very frustrating. no messages left.

They’ve moved on from the LED replacement to the Electric hot water replacement scam.
Indian accent, male, calling himself “James”.

Fourth call this weekend; if they were legitimately replacing old bulbs with LEDs they would have got the message that I'm not interested the first time they called.

The callers have south Asian accents, but they use phoney "western names", and the number they are spoofing is that of an IT consulting company in Barangaroo.

Called 4 times today. Does not leave message. Must be scammers.

I refuse to answer the multiple calls I receive daily. If not in contacts I won’t answer. Another cold caller based on messages here. Blocked!

Left a voicemail. Between the background noise and the mumbling, I have no idea what the person said. Suspect it was recruitment related but that's about all I can say for sure.

Caller: Asian female

This person was trying to get me to agree to installing new led lights I asked what company she worked for after quite a while she told me it was Green Australia she became frustrated after a while as I already have them.

SCAMMERS FROM INDIA USING A NSW PHONE NUMBER.
DO NOT ANSWER! BLOCK AND REPORT!!

Called multiple times but never leaves a message.

scammin, no response when answered call. silence the beeps then hang up. don't trust it.

Caller: Indian male

Could be linked to light changing bulb replacement scheme who obtained my mobile then was called by - Indian male asking for better home loan rate - was asked not to call me back. He said he would call me back. Definitely spam

I called back, got a guy with Indian accent, bad connect and mumble a lot.
I asked who he represented and what it was about.
He was asking if was looking for a job
I repeated that I wanted to know what company he was calling from and why.
he mumbled something and hung up.
Definitely a scam of some sort

Receiving these same calls from the same numbers and same suggested company at the start of February 2024.

Called me twice now. Hangs up after 3 seconds. I answered it for Shiz and giggles but because I don't say anything they hang up on me!!!!

claiming to be from the NSW gov installing new light globes for free. BLOCK.

I didnt answer because I didnt recognise the number. They didnt leave a message and called another 8 times throughout the day without leaving a message. I thought if it was important they could leave a message. After looking up reverse australia Im glad I didnt answer, I reported as spam on my phone but dont know if that can help stop scammers.Thank you to this website and contributors for the information shared.

Caller: Said her name was Julie

Heavily accented women said her name was juwee. Started rabbiting on about replacement led lights very obvious it's a scam . They have been ringing several times a day for days . Told her never to ring this number again you scammer !

Answered then they hung up . Dodgy!
