Immediately went to an automated Chinese message, I hung up and blocked

Sent me txt msg from +971 56 859 2352 saying my debit/credit card account was blocked due to no info updated. Need to contact bank at (02) 8311 6659
Blocked it, there will b a lot of these due to covid virus

Very annoying, when answered was a Chinese automated message that lasted about 30 seconds. Being a true blue Aussie I had no idea what the message said. Is this what Multiculturalism is all about is it???

This is scam call! A Chinese automatic voice message claims that the call is from UPS express delivery, saying that " There is an important international express mail for you undelivered. This is the final notice. Please press 9 for customer service". If you press "9", you will be transferred to someone who claimed to be UPS staff. That person will start to ask your name, your address. If you fall into the trap and tell them your personal info, they will start the scam game by saying that there is something concerning in your undelivered mail, suggesting that you have been involved in an illegal conduct and you are on a international police warrant list. To avoid further legal proceeding or to claim that you are innocent, they will help to transfer the call to the international policy number, but actually transferring to a higher level scammer who will threaten you and request you to transfer all your money to them....... DON'T ANSWER THE CALL. OR IF YOU ARE BORED AND HAVE TIME, YOU CALL ANSWER, DIAL 9, AND THEN GIVE THEM A GOOD LESSON ON DOING MORE MEANINGFUL THINGS IN LIFE.

Tried to call back and apparently the number is not in service. It then left me a Chinese voice message - I don't speak Chinese so I will block the number as it's obviously dodgy if it says that the number is not in service.

I called back the number (02) 8311 6659 but was routed automatically to an ivr

Guessing a scam, ignored and blocked. Said my atm bank card blocked and to phone the number back.

Got text saying Debit and Credit card blocked 'Due to Not information' . Dumbasses. I am sure a bank would have better grammar.

A text message from this number (02) 8311 6659 appeared on my wifi device saying that my regular payment was blocked and to contact them. I checked with Telstra and there was no problem, then rang this number out of curiosity. Sure enough was someone with an Asian accent answered and just said "Hello". I asked where where they from and they said St. George Bank. I immediately hung up, I will now report to the bank.

Never open the messege to listen to what they have to say .. its hard to translate what they say :)

they said i send a illegal parcel to China but i didn't, and it might affect ur visa and stuff.and they asked for name and will connect u with the police. BLOCK THEM
