3 missed calls from these guys today

indian called centre saying they wanted to do a 7 question survey on behalf of charities in my area. we blocked the number, and they have tried to call 3 more time in the last 6hrs.

This number only ever leaves messages on the answering service. If I pick the call up the line just goes dead. I'm starting to think of getting rid of my landline number as the majority of calls are mostly telemarketers and scammers!!!

This is the umpteenth time this group of professional scammers has rung. They purport to be from the Taxation Department, they state
that there is an emergency with money not reported to the taxation Department and that the police are on their way. The local detectives
just say they are scammers. But here they are years on and still operating!!!!

Another scammer testing my block filter today (3/12/16) and confirming that it works perfectly.

Many calls originate overseas from computers using fake numbers so complaining to Telstra will not solve the problem.

If you want to block nuisance calls like this one, you have the option of buying a phone from a Telstra Shop that can do this, it is called the Telstra Call Guardian 301. The phone is well worth the investment.

Other devices such as Fritz!Box modem router also have call blocking features.

They tried a variation by ringing 3 times with no break between rings. Rang number on skype and and recorded info identifies the number belonging to mycharitysurvey.com

Same here !! I have caller ID and this numbers rings every.......single.......day - I have answered before and told them off and was told by the caller that I was "damn rude" which hasn't stopped them calling me

Got a call from this number, could not understand almost anything the woman said. Told she was from some unintelligible survey place and this is a "costed" call. When I told her that I was on "do not call registry", she told me under the circumstances of that, the call charges would be waived. Said goodbye to her and hung up!

BEWARE!!!!! They are now trying to get YOU to pay for their nuisance calls!!!!!!

Just got a call from this number, person with a accent such that I could not tell what they were saying. Had to ask him to repeat everything he said multiple times. Eventually worked out that he was saying he was working for charity services dot com. That it was from Multiple charities. As I no charities dont work that was I told him that I did not believe him. He said ok and hung up. Looked up the number and found this web site and so now I am sure he was not telling the truth.

Nuisance call from this number claiming to be from "My charity survey". Clearly a scammer.
