ATO Scam. Purports to be from the Australian Tax Office claiming tax is owed and seeking confidential information. When I asked for their name and ID they hung up. From the background noise it is an overseas call centre. They have been ringing three to four times a days for over a week. I have reported the number to the ATO.

I received a message from this number that I was being investigated from the ATO for fraud and that I would have to go to Court if I didn't call them back.

Received both voice call and text from this number claiming I was being prosecuted for tax fraud and tax evasion. Just hung up - obviously a scam since any communication would be through existing ATO contact channels - email or MyGov.

Asked for my grandmother who has been dead 18 months, and then told me he was going to blow up my house in 10 mins when I asked to have our number taken off the list

Scammer purporting to be from Australian Taxation Office left 4messages this week. Reported to Acorn cybercrime website and ATO fraud team.

Lying Indian con job...not the I.T. branch of the tax office, but some scammer with poor English!

"ATO" tax scam used this number for unidentified resident to reply or else face "criminal court in your territory" for tax fraud.

This is a scam call purporting to be from a Tax related entity, presumably hoping to elicit information about you. DO NOT RESPOND.

Previously they also have (02) 8317 3581 but the same amelikan voice and keep changing their numbers. hahaha. good if you have Telstellar shares and bad/good economy
