TAX SCAM. Some foreign person about overdue tax, apparently all registered letters sent to us have been returned, & there is a warrant for our arrest. Which is amazing as we just did our tax.

Two calls in two days with same number. It was an automated call from the "tax office. Couldn't really understand the voice mail.

Have had numerous calls from this number regarding an insurance claim for an 'accident'. I asked the lady how she can live with herself trying to scam young families and she got very angry with me. She even tried to call me back after I hang up on her.

Total SCAM....

Yep, same as above, came up as " no caller id", refuse to answer calls with no number on screen, they left number won't call back, looked up reverse Australia straight away , has put my mind at ease , thanks for the comments left , great service !!

Partner frighten by call foreigner answered call back said he was from ATO...they do not phone with this kind of message. Surprised that Telstra and government allow this to continue.

Three calls on July 22nd-difficult to understand foreign voice. Obviously a scam claiming to be the Tax Office.

TAX SCAM. A gentleman with a thick Indian accent left a voicemail, there are 9 warrants out for my arrest and all registered letters sent to my address have been returned. What a load of crock!! The sad thing is some poor elderly person will possibly get caught out by the douchebags

Received 3 calls in one day. Foreign voice maybe South African or Possible Philipino. Definately a scam.

Yep funny, I don't have do my tax, supplied with new landline number which is private, they rang once, I hung up they rang a again left voice message, funny how they want a solicitor to contact that number. Feel sorry for the elderly that will panic from their call.

Yep my mobile is on the internet under a business. Aparently there is a warrent for my arrest and some incorrect filing and something to do with the do not call register. Also a class action sonething,.... Shame I could not understand the company. I have not made any calls and well not me. So i guess if it was real, i would have more than a voice message left...lol. Scam. Call back so they can try get money out people..........ok they answered the phone with HQ department. I said what department? The tax department . Ohh ok what country. The country you are calling from ohhhh so what country would that be..... He hung up on me so yes a scam

I just received the same call, It is so nice to start the day off with a good laugh. I will make coffee and wait to be arrested.
