Initially there was silence, then as I checked my mobile to see if the call was still connected, I heard the end of a recorded message - a female with an Aussie accent. I called back and the same voice mentioned a motor vehicle accident xall centre. Option 1 if involved in an accident recently, Option 2 if no accident. Number now blocked.

I thought I was free from these idiots. Haven't received a call in the last few months, but they've started again. So much so that I now recognise the number.

Total scam, I played along with them one time and they wanted to send me to a doctor with one of their people to get my doctor to fill out a claim form that they could take to court on my behalf. I didn't have to attend court they would do everything and then send me a cheque for $100,000 as I said I had 2 injuries. Not once did they ask anything about the accident just the injuries.

"First Response Team" British Chav, talking about a supposed accident that I supposedly had 12 months ago. As I told him where to go, and was hanging up; he started getting aggressive... *click*

Same as above complaints. I too don't drive. Warning to all they are most persistent - would love to know who to report the scam artists too.

Same. A call regarding me being in an accident in the last 12 months, on my mobile which is a private number. And also addressing my name! I've had no car accident. I hung up straight away.

This is a scam. They called me and asked if I have had a car accident in the past 12 months. Probably trying to steel insurance money from some unlucky people who may have had accidents.

Irish accent - says they are from First Response and asking if I had been in an accident recently (I had) - asking if I was hurt and for details on accident (anyone else in car and where it happened), I said shouldn't they have these details - told I would be put onto supervisor- another Irish accent, and explained that the CTP insurance has money set aside for claims of injury and they will call in 1 week to check if I have any! Will be interesting to see if they are fishing for account details!!!

Had a call from an Irish lady today, was calling about an accident I was involved in during the past 12 months. Told her that she was a scam artist as I hadn't been involved in any accidents to which she promptly hung up.

Got a call, someone very assuredly told me I'd caused a car accident and they were phoning to discuss that. They were quick to hang up when I told them I don't actually drive.

They have been calling me consistently stating i have been in a motor accident. i told them numerous times not to call me and take my number off your list. And still calling me. so i seen my lawyer and he stated that - they are not allowed to harass anyone and if you ask them to take your number off the list they have to take it off. If they keep doing it you can take it higher.
