So annoying. Call all the time

Had a call from Cassidy (male) and sadi he is from Contatcs Info Australia(?). Wanted to know who is in charge of landline bills - a bit suss. Told him it is the governement of Australia. LOL

Called and asked for manager, called back again same day. Could tell it was a telemarketer from the chatter in the background. Was insistent on calling back rather than leaving a message.

Josh calling from CCA - could definitely tell he was from a call centre from the background noise. They're not going to get through in a hurry cause I'll keep being the gate keeper in our company and stop these calls from going any further then me, that's what I'm trained to do!

Calls daily - needs to speak with Manager - not here - tell them not to call back...

I've had three different people from this number call in the past week all asking for our highest onsite manager by name. One said she was from CCA, other two don't tell me their names, where they're from, what they're after. I just refuse to put them through and don't give them any details. A simple 'the manager isn't onsite at the moment, can I take a message?' usually gets rid of them pretty quickly. One actually asked me to leave a message for the manager to call back - I never passed the message on. MAJOR SCAM.

this number calls us every week stating that they need to speak with our financial controller to give us special call rates! told them several times we are not interested but they keep calling
i rang to tell them to take us off their call list but they still call arrgghhhhhhh!

Called us stating that he was Kataldo from CCA, tried to reach our Managing Director by referring to his name. Can tell from the background that it was a callcenter, annoyed by calls like this everyday.

I get this number ringing every day, I answer hoping this time it doesn't hang up so I can ask not to call this number again... but I get hung up on before I have a chance.

Teegan (male) from CCA called from this number and wanted to speak to the person in charge of our Telstra account I said I was authorised (which I am not), they didn't ask any security questions we have set up on our Telstra account therefore knew they were not legit business. They were very rude and in the end had to hang up on them.

It is Contact Centre Australia, which is a call centre for various parties. They asked for the person who dealt with our phone lines, I said, sorry, our IT department works off site and gave them a dodgy email addy. :)

He said no worries and hung up. He was polite but I find saying "whoever they need" is not located "here" is the only way to really get rid of cold callers. Especially for Telco "solutions".

Telemarketing group called Telco. Dont bother entering into a conversation with them...tell them you're not interested and hang up straight away. They are trying to get you to convert over to them.

New Zealand telemarketers for a phone company; onsellers. Tired of these people calling me and saying they have spoken to me about a phone plan previously. Then ask my name - which I will not give, because they then ask for you by name the next time and pretend they know you. They won't tell you what they can offer, but want you to give them all the details of your Telstra account so they can save you "hundreds of dollars". Been there, done that - the 1st bill is usually cheaper, then they start increasing. Try getting some service from them when you have a phone problem - good luck with that!!!

Had a number of calls from this number asking to speak to who manages phone accounts.. ........ the matter is so "confidential" - you can hear from the background noise it is a call centre........SCAM

2014 10 28 Tuesday - call from this number, guy asked who manages phone accounts, told him we get a call like this almost every day, he said it's not a telemarketing call, I asked what the purpose is, he said he needs to be sure he's talking to the right person - I told him not to call again and cut off the call.

These guys are telemarketers
