i have been receiving calls from this number since August. As per the other comments, no one says a thing. Sometimes there is a bit of background noise, other times, nothing. I rang the number a few times and it is constantly engaged. Is there nothing we can do about these people?

I keep getting calls from this number, almost like prank calls where I answer and say 'hello' and then nobody replies and the phone is hung up after a few seconds.
Please stop calling me??

It is so wrong that anybody can get your phone number now and annoy people by constantly calling while they are at work and home. To me this is harassment. Not only am I getting the calls but also my 84 year old mother is getting them who now lives in a nursing home because of her health problems. She is currently in hospital as she is very ill and is still getting the calls every day on her mobile. How can I stop them calling?

Many different callers from company alleging to be Optus. Could be, but 12 calls in three days after telling them I'm not interested and asking to be taken off their calling list, so I'm thinking outsourced and not Optus. I'm now doing the same as the above poster: answering the call then putting it down and getting on with my day to the sound of "hello......hello.....hello....."
