Red Cross

Red Cross. Calls almost every day. No message left. I am already donating to them once a month by direct debit. Grrrr.

I already donate to these guys and am getting calls every couple of weeks. I just sent the red cross an email to:
donorinfo @ redcross.org.au
stating that my donations will cease if they persist.

Hopefully they're not idiots.

I have been getting these calls too. Its a fundraising agency 2evolve they partner with different charities. If you email contacts @ 2evolve.com.au then someone will take you off the list.

Thanks to everyone else for sharing info on this number. The telemarketing agency is 2evolve. I visited their website. There's a toll free number on their contact page. I asked to be taken off their list. The person who answered was very helpful. Hopefully this will be the last call.

If you call back, the message says, "Hi, you have reached the number for 2Evolve. Thank you for your call. Unfortunately, we cannot take your call, but we will be in contact with you soon. Thank you." The company is a telemarketing company, and their site is here: http://www.2evolve.com.au/

Because of their unusual call times and their persistence, they have gone onto my reject list.

Some guy called saying he was from the Red Cross, asking for a particular person, I gather if have donated in the past, or

Keep on callling

This number keeps calling, not anyone I know.

I missed the call and they didn't leave a message. Calling back get a recording that I don't understand why I am getting a call from them and it just hung up. Smells like a outsourced outbound call centre that wants to push something and doesn't want you to call back.

I do have a Red Cross commitment so the above comments is probably correct that commuting to Red Cross means I get added to unsolicited call list of some outbound call centre. If I get more calls from these unprofessional people that would be the end of my commitment to Red Cross.

Karen, when you agree to make monthly donations to any charity IT IS NOT a contract. You can cancel at any time by letter, email or simply contact you financial institution. These charities have you sign up hoping that you will continue donating and the wording may imply that you are obligated to donate for a minimum 12 months, or two years, this is not the case.

I too receive a phone call nearly every day. I will answer next time and tell them to stop calling. Very annoying.

I called back number (02) 8199 8541 reached voice mail of 2 evolve.
