They claim to be Transpacific debt collectors but are hard to understand as when you ask for details they put on really strong indian accents and refuse to speak clearly. I asked them to give me some options for my date of birth to prove they were legit but they became aggressive so I hung up.

But if the debt is past a certain amount of years it is meant to be dropped anyway. That company lives off old debts and you are silly to pay...it can't go on your credit rating.

These idiots have been ringing me for 10 years about a bill that I apparently owe though they can't give me any details. I get 3-4 calls in a week then it goes quiet for a few weeks and then it starts again. They always ring in the middle of the day and never leave a message. I now have added them into my contacts so when "Transpacific" shows up on my phone, I just ignore it.

Get a call at least once a week for the last 3-4 years, no message left and if answered an extremely hard to understand Indian (or similar) on the other end, I asked once if I could speak to someone who spoke English, and the person on the other end just started screaming and hung up on me.

They have been calling me about twice a day for the past few years and I've had enough. But don't know how to stop it! I just decline the call.

I've been getting calls from them from over a year asking for some woman I've never heard of. At one stage they pretended to be her father. Can't get rid of them. Didn't realise other people had the same issue & that it was about a debt - they refuse to say. Have been logging calls, going to try going to the police.

Yes they are a debt collection agency - probably an old debt that you have forgotten about - they want to know everything about you and they are more than likely trying to get you to confirm your address as they would likely have your last addressed so when you give them your address they more than likely dont have it and will then send you annoying letter threatening you over Xmas - lovely people !!!

When they ask for a person I say sure I'll just put them in. I then put the phone down until they hang up. Happened twice and now they do not call.

These guys are a pack of wankers - I get 3 - 5 calls per week all looking for the guy who had my number 5 years ago!!! Tried being nice spoke with supervisor to get number removed now I go into to full on skitz mode when they ring. Telstra told me they cannot block the number as my phone is a businees line...
