Claims from ATO. a scam

Scam allegedly from ATO - "This is a system generated message from taxation office. This message is to notify as per our recent audit we have identified is incorrect or no tax filing. And regret to inform you that your account is being marked as an account of tax avoidance. Our letters sent to your registered address have also returned unsigned and undelivered resulting into a petition note to be filed against your name including a warrant for your arrest. Now before the case is sent for execution and you receive a legal course of notification please contact our hotline (02) 8103 2078 The number again (02) 8103 2078."

I have received this message. I am 76 years old and was a full time mother when I was young. I have never been a tax payer

They didn't say anything when I answered

Got the same call ATO, warrant for arrest blah blah blah. SCAM

I received call from this number today and before .ATO scam as its a recorded message from ATO that my tax file number had usual activities .

ATO Scam. Advised unpaid tax, deliberate tax avoidance, warrant for arrest etc.
Computer generated voice message that did not sound very authentic. Should be ignored & avoided.

Recorded message. Did not mention they were from the ATO, but said there was a warrant for my arrest, etc. - scam, scam, scam

Yep just got the same message left on my answering machine.

Yawn. Another one. A bit worrying the first time round and reported them to the Police who already knew about it. How stupid are they, with their ridiculous Dalek sounding voice, to target the same people over and over. What IS the point???

Scammers actually left a message on my answering machine - Tossers!

Received the same pre-recorded scam message (tax avoidance / arrest warrant). If they call again I will be advising them that they have been reported to the police.

They now have an arrest warrant scam running.
They also have the judgement against you running .
In the last 7 days I got both.

I got an electronic message from this number saying we were being pursued for a "delinquent " account due to no tax filings and would be subject to an arrest warrant and to call the number. I assume it's a hoax as our taxes are up to date.

I am about to be arrested for tax evasion!

Rang my 83 old mother, wanting to take her to court etc etc over a registered letter???? A total scam
