Prank Call. regarding solar panels.

A very aggressive and rude Indian sounding guy promoting solar panels, he phones every couple of weeks. Why can't the govt do something about this invasion of privacy and obviously the Do Not Call Register is useless.

Indian solar panel scammers

Received a call this afternoon on my (unlisted/do not call registered) landline. I didn't answer, because as soon as I saw the (02) 8 prefix I suspected a crank/scam caller immediately; in my experience of trolls, most landline calls are prefixed with either, (02) or (03) 8... I'll tell them to go fk themselves sideways if they call again. Judging by Berniece's comment of October 7, this caller is a scammer.

Indian Call Centre - claiming to be selling solar panels. Say that the Do Not Call Register doesn't apply to them (despite them supposedly calling on behalf of an Australian company which they won't name. Refuse to delete our number from their calling list. We have had multiple calls relating to this scam.

Hangs up when answered - very sus!

Called about tax benefits. Refused to state how they got details.

They are usually called Eddie or Jerry, Indian and say they are not selling anything, solar usually, don't get the hint that your not interested after niceties so.......,

GET A LIFE and leave people that wish to enjoy there life ALONE. If I receive another call from this number or other 02 8 numbers again you will be sorry you did.

They call every day, various times but always Monday to Friday. never leave msg...shonks & as with many of these callers don't even come up as Private number..don't answer

I never answer calls that are not programmed into my phone but just might now just to do what truffles 99 said & tell them I already have solar panels

Yep. Just about had enough of this one. Solar panels my ass.

And I tried calling the number. American accent automated message that the person on that extension is busy.

Now working out how to block this number on my landline.

Rang in a rush, without introduction, asked for mispronounced home owner then hung up.

Indian gentleman rang - mentioned the word "solar panels" to which I replied that I was on the Do Not Call Register and objected to being phoned by telemarketers - he then proceeded to tell me I was "damned rude" and asked me if it was illegal to say the word "solar panels" - I then hung up - my caller ID shows that this number has been ringing non stop over weeks

Received another hang-up from this number. I regularly get missed calls from this number.
They hang up after you pick up and answer. I am on the Do not call list but this dose not stop them
