my phone called this number by itself i was charged

Yup same deal - called twice in one day and no reponse both times - bloody annoying. Had 4 telemarketing calls today alone; someone needs to crack down on all these cold calls...

report this no# to scamwatch, the questions they ask and the way in which they go about their business is illegal.

the more reports to scamwatch, the more chance your states local authority will investigate this unscrupulous company and fine then for their breaches of various state and federal legislations.

Being gettin 5 calls a week for 3 months , then they hang up...got my first human contact from them and told them that i am going to report them to the police if they call me gain. They laughed.

Their name is Aegon Marketing. Their scam is that they continually call you and hang up, until you get frustrated enough to track their number down and call it. Being a 1300 number, it is a premium number, and you are forced to pay ridiculous amounts to call them and tell them to take you off their list. The best thing you can do is to google their company name and then either email them, or call the number on their website.

I received a lot of missed calls from this number, and when I did answer they hung up.  I called 1300 305 515 this morning and simply asked to be removed from their list.  I provide my number and they told me it would take approx 24 hours.

They did not ask for any personal details (if they had I'd not have given anything at all).

Fingers crossed it works!
