This number is part of a scam.

It is supposed to be the number for technical help concerning a security software.

I called the number I had gotten off of google to fix my wireless setup, and he got me to go on that site and while waiting for it to download he then hit on me. My computer will now not even turn on.

I just had a call from them also, they asked me to go into www.fix123.org and download something which would have given them remote access to my computer. It all seemed a bit suspicious so I said I was busy and would call them back.

I had 3 calls this morning, but they didn't speak when I answered the phone. This afternoon and evening, 3 of them have called me, giving this number and their website. They said that other people in my street were having problems with their computers and that it had been traced to my computer. When I asked how they could tell it was my computer, one of them said that they could trace computers. I told one of them that I had a Mac and he didn't appear to understand. If you say something that's not on their script, they can't cope. Everyone one of them has sounded Indian and are hard to understand. Thieves and scammers the lot of them.

Please create a call type for scammer.

This the third time I have had a call from this organisation. Very aggressive, very demanding and ordering me to quickly log on to their site to be inspected by "Microsoft Support".
Clearly a scam.. Beware.
They would sound convincing to the unitiated.
HANG UP ON THEM !!! Save yourself some headaches.

Strange that after 30 years in I.T. as a programmer, systems manager & support technician I couldn't tell that "errors" in my event logs was due to my machine having "bad system corruptions", and not because a program crashed when it ran out of memory!

Hi - I received a call from these guys also - I thought they said EPerfectionsm and when I googled them I found them based in Pakistan - but the number they gave me to call back on was the same. Sounded so genuine, they have called me 3 times lately so are very persistent. They said they were calling from Sydney, so pleased I did a bit of digging before I went ahead and 'sat in front of my computer, logged on, and followed their instructions'. It was a female operator speaking and the spiel is spoken with such urgency that anyone could fall for it. Thanks Franco for posting your info and thanks White Pages for making this investigating of numbers available. I hope others who, like me, are not so up on computering are able to do a bit of checking before falling for it. Pattix

Got a call from this number today.Very aggressive people wanting me to log on to their "Microsoft Support" centre so that they could clean up my PC. When pushed for information about themselves and why I was uncomfortable about logging on to their Support Centre, They became very defensive and invited me to call them back. These scammers will take control of your computer remotely and upload untold garbage, and then invite you to pay for whatever extra garbage they feel like loading on your machine, and worse still, they then have your credit card details. Please beware.. !!!! They call themselves EProtection.
