Caller: Scam Vodafone Caller

A young guy called from Vodafone (sydney) stating that that my number had been randomly selected for a plan upgrade for the latest android or apple smartphone.
I then proceeded to ask how this was the case as my plan is only approx. 3 months old etc. He kept ignoring that part and asking me which smartphone I would like.
The plans were $84 per month, unlimited internet, unlimited calls and texts and international calls. He then asked for my Vodafone ACCOUNT PIN. As he was talking down the phone I did a quick search of the number he was calling from, and thanks to a few google pages, it's listed as a scam therefore I gave a fake pin and hung up.

I then reported the above details to Vodafone and the number has been reported on their end as a scammer and they even blocked the number from calling me again.

Indian girl asking to upgrade my phone plan, I told her that I’m in a contract for another 6 months. She said I should cancel and pay the withdrawal fee to get a new phone. I believe it’s a scam

NO ID Caller unknown. Most probably a scam and not curious enough to take the call.

Caller: Indian female claiming to be from Vodafone

Repeat caller. Always asks for lots of details about my phone and plan that I believe Vodafone would already know. The usual delay for them to speak when you answer and a very noisy call centre in the background. When you hang up they ring back again and try to continue their questioning.

Offered a Vodafone mobile plan. Asking for personal details, obviously not given. Should be banned from using telecommunications networks from India to annoy Australians.

Indian male pretending to be from Vodafone. Called twice, after I hung up on him the first time....insult them and hang up. The Federal Govt. should be stopping this via the communications act. The minister is responsible for this and does nothing.
