Indian caller gave me a spiel about how my mobile number had won a tablet like an ipad. Yeah no.

Didn't answer as unknown number. Standard subhuman subcontinental scammers, left a garbled message about rebates or some such. Block, absolute scam.

This number frequently calls. When i answer they hang up. I check the phone number from caller ID and press dial. I then get this automated message.

The number you have dialled is not connected. Please check the number before calling again.

Got a call from this number tonight, bit before 8. Asking for someone else, said it was the wrong number, and he got defensive, saying we'd already spoken and demanding to know who he was speaking to now. I refused to give him my name, asking him who he was, and he refused to answer. Scam

LED light scammer. Asked for company name, and the caller said it was Bijay, I think. I told her that the government had a list of approved people (suppliers) on the website; if I wanted the so-called "free" LED lights, then I would use one of those, and not someone from an Indian call centre, and then hung up.

Received a call from that number and picked the phone up without saying anything - suspected it was a telemarketer given the time of the day of the call. They hung up when they didn’t get a bite. Tried calling the number back only to hear the “call can’t be connected message”. I don’t know how it is legal for dirtbag punks to be able to call you on a phone number that can’t be called back. These pricks just want to annoy you and obviously the Do Not Call list rules don’t apply to these a**holes. In these days of digital traceability it’s disappointing authorities aren’t able to get to the origin of these calls and prosecute the f**k out of these scum. When they call again next time there could be a bit of payback as government bodies just can’t be bothered pursuing.

Didn’t answer it as I was on a plane the first time. Read about it here and it’s rang back a few times now to which I’ve missed. Today however Indian speaking guy said his name was Trevor and rattled on about solar rebates. I put him on hold and when I got back to him he’d gone. Poor Trevor.

Caller: Solar Rebates Victoria (Con)

Said his name was Harry and wanted to tell me about Solar panel rebates. I told him I was not interested which is when he got aggressive and told me to shut up and let him speak. Call went down hill from there. Most likely a scam call trying to collect credit card numbers or personal details.

Caller: Number is Not In Service

I received a call on my home phone, in the afternoon, on 1 October 2019 from (02) 8073 0572. The voice of an ethic woman asking: Are you Mr ___? Are you the Home owner ? I replied: No. She said she was calling from Solar Home Solutions in regards to the Victorian solar rebate. She hung up. When I rang the number back there was an announcement which said: This number is not in service. This is another telephone scam from a fake company with a fake telephone number. The same number telephoned me last week.

Caller: a telephone number not in service

On 16 September 2019 at 2:09 pm i received a telephone call on my home phone from (02) 8073 0572. A female voice with an ethnic accent asked me: "Hello how are you? Are you the owner of the household of number _______ Street ?". My response was: "Where are you calling from?" she replied, Sunshine in Melbourne". My answer was that: "No, I am not the householder of that address" and I quickly hung up on her. I dialled the number from my handset caller ID (02) 8073 0572. And no surprise, there was a recorded announcement with "I am sorry you call could not be completed at this time". The second time I rang this number back a recorded announcement said: "The number you have called is not in service, please hang up" so I am glad I hung up on that caller. So if this happens to you, hang up on the caller
