Yes, unfortunately all charity, fund raising, & survey are exempt from the Do Not Call Register. Block the number if you have a phone capable of Blocking Numbers. Otherwise keep a list of Pest Numbers & hang up on them. If you do not answer the phone the number is automatically kept in the current phone cycle system & they will keep ringing your number multiple times a day or week until it is answered. They will not remove your number from their lists, as I have asked multiple times.

They have rung segeral times in the last couple of weeks. I have answered the phone, and there was only silence. I have also phoned the number and it just rings out. If they really ARE the RFS, wouldn't it be easier to say something rather than have people blocking their number? 🤔 Logic🤣

Caller: RFS fund raiser Asked not to call. Blocked number and tried to message on Facebook. All RFS Facebook accounts are private. No way will I donate to this NFP after the shocking way in which they “kept” funds raised for recent bushfires.

Just moved into a new house and got the phone connected. This number has called us everyday since the phone was connected. Since we aren’t home during the day when the call is made we haven’t talked to them.

Caller: Recall-Autodialer Most likely, Auto-Dialer-Redial-Repeat, like many others, I list (all) these as SPAM in my phone index. When they, or it, dials my mobile again, I do not answer. Keep up the good fight!

Caller: (02) 8039 9754 They aren't the RFS. They are a charity collection agency. Sometimes the same number rings and they identify themselves as Guide Dogs Australia. So if you do donate, be aware that some of your donation goes to them. And if you do donate, get them to send you a donation form. It will be from a company based in Strawberry Hills. Shame on the RFS for giving their donation business to such an unprofessional organization. Be aware that they build up a relationship with anyone silly enough to donate, and will regularly call you every 3 months, hitting you up for money. Not me - elderly relative.

Caller: RFire Service NSW At least you can find out who rang & it seems to be RFS, unlike the nasty scammers from Asian countries who cannot be blocked as they use disposable numbers.

Caller: Nsw rfsa This is a dodgy charity group. Most of the money raised stays with the sales managers and team leaders. Very little money goes to the charity or the sales reps this organisation should be shut down. Most people that work at this organisation end up suicidal or homeless. It's impossible to remove yourself from their list ad they call.on behalf of charities. So block them. They use a diall up rotation phone system to keep Changing numbers to dial from.

Caller: (02) 8039 9754 Do Not answer this number . It is a fundraising group run by a company linked to victoria police. They have a list of australian based landline and mobile numbers on rotation. The staff are paid on commission only. The company takes most of the profits. Very little of the money raised goes to the nominated charity. The company attracts despararte unemployed people and backpackers who can't get jobs elsewhere. Most earn little to no income for weeks and months on end. The company strategy is to keep targeting elderly and retirees and people who leave business cards in takeaway shops until they cough up money. They then keep hitting up people to donate by playing heart strings. It's a big scam. Never support these charities. Most money raised goes to sales managers and team leaders, the sales person often gets little to nothing and the charity even less. It's impossible to remove your number from list, so just block them.

Missed calls this week on our landline. They've called before. Claim to be fundraising for the Rural Fire Service but we are not convinced they are genuine. We have repeatedly asked for our landline number to be taken off their list but they continue to call. Can't block from our landline.

Call several times and hang up. Block the number then calls start from a similar number and on it goes. Believe it is NSW RFS or rather claiming to be selling raffle tickets to raise funds for them. They are relentless
