I get calls off this number all the time. I donate to Red cross each month and if it's them I'm going to cancel their donations

Hey guys, your all thinking about this wrong... From now on let's have anyone who reads this site, ensure they answer this number next time it rings, BUT instead of increasing your donation to an otherwise terrific charity, due to this nuisance of a call, explain to your caller that you wish to cancel your commitment, and if your feeling really nasty, tell them its wholly due to their incessant calls, they'll soon learn that making these annoying phone calls not only hurts their charity's unsafe but also their financial status..

They told me they were calling from Oxfam but who knows? could have been anyone.

I haven't answered this number but I also donate to the Red Cross every month. I won't cancel my donation but I will continue to ignore these calls.

If you call this number back, it transfers to a very scratchy overseas line.
They ring me all the time but never answer. It appears to be some fundraising mob working for the RSPCA. I have emailed the RSPCA CEO saying that they will never see another cent from me after these calls. Strangely, I had stopped donating to Red Cross a long time ago for similar reasons.

Not happy being harrassed during working hours

Getting these calls myself. Already give 30.00 a month. And as a mum of a new baby is pretty hard to do. Does anyone know how to cancel? What the number is?

I used to donate to the Red Cross for a few years but they kept ringing regularly asking me to increase my donations. I kept telling them I couldn't afford it and yet they kept ringing, so I just cancelled my credit card out of spite. It's been a few years now and they keep ringing me!

ive been receiving calls from this number for the past week or so, I dont answer it cause I dont answer numbers I dont know but I used to donate to red cross before as well... I canceled it a long time ago and told them to stop calling me ages ago but not working...

I donate to red cross each month already so I dont see why they need to continue calling me every day!!! I just ignore it now when I see the number!! I am trying to do a good deed by donating but if they continue to hassle people (me) I will consider cancelling!!!!

The guy ringing may claim he is from the Red Cross, but how can you tell? It could be anybody! I told him if he has anything to say and ask, send an email instead - he didn't of course.

I have got no idea what's going on with this number, missed calls all the time. I have tried to pick up but when I do there is nobody there. On my mobile! Gah

I called the 1800 811 700 for red cross donations and talked to comeone there. If you give them your details they will APPARENTLY take your details off their system and hence stop calling you.. I use apparently.. guess we will wait a few days and see how it goes.
