I am getting repeated calls from (02) 8015 7195, (02) 8015 6977, etc. I answered one call and was hung up on. I block the calls but they keep coming on different extensions.

Told me that l had spoken to them last year about my electricity and that l had asked them to call me if they had cheaper prices. I have never called anyone regarding my electri ty as l work for a power company. This person was adimant that l had requested a call back! She was rude and keep trying to argue with me.Told them to never call me again and have blocked the number.

Electricity company. Indian based. use multiple similar numbers

Called and knew my name, said they had an opportunity for me to make money from home (yeah, right) then wanted to know a heap of info. sus as. hung up.

Wanted to talk to me about online trading and making money online. SPAM!

Called and I answered. A British man said he would smash my phone and cut my arm off then hung up.

This is related to calls from Community Bill Compare, seemingly an Indian based Electricity comparison service.

They may be using a local Australian VOIP gateway to call Australian numbers (hence why the numbers look like Aussie numbers).

I suggest you save the number on your phone as something like "SPAM" or "COLD CALL" and just keep adding the numbers to the contact. That way when you get called again from the same number you get a prompt that describes who it is.

I keep blocking the same annoying mob from the following numbers:
(02) 8015 7195
(02) 8015 6949
(02) 8015 6977

Keep calling me, so far from the following numbers: (02) 8015 6977, (02) 8015 6946 and (02) 8015 7195 - finally answered and the hung up straight away.

The Same number keeps calling. I thought it was an important call, so I called them back. Then the electricity story, I said I am busy and I blocked it. However, I am getting calls back from other extensions of (02) 8015 6946, (02) 8015 6977. So far I have blocked 3 numbers, I am looking forward to blocking any number starts from 02 8015 xxx. This is really annoying.

Same number keeps calling and I block it, but calls back the next day on another extension of (02) 8015 ..... Very frustrating as it happens every day and multiple times a day.
