Had a call from them, claiming to be from Lenders Network. Asked for number and 'Ryan' gave it. Called them back and they confirmed company name (after thinking about it). Reported to the Do Not Call register, as I am registered. It's just a call centre, but I'd love to find the physical address. Anyone know?

I understand you are a working home owner.
No, I rent.
Okay, bye.

This is a call from someone trying to gather personal information in a process called social engineering whereby the caller will construct enough information from you to facilitate an act of fraud.

Called to be from The Lenders Network. Wanted details about how much savings we had and how much we earned, etc. Didn't seem legitimate and a quick Google search revealed that The Lenders Network is not based in Australia. There is also a lot of complaints about this network as well as the phone number given.

Called me telling me he had a special offer. He told me my name, that I work and that I own the home, then asked me to confirm. I said he must be mistaken and he hung up!! Love to know how he knew my name and that I'm a working homeowner???

I wish they would stop calling. They hang up once I answer with my business name. They're calling multiple times every day. You can't call back as it just gives a busy signal
