They are a splinter group of f*ckwits anonymous who operate out of Northern India sitting in a tin shed with a laptop and headset

Probably aimed at the elderly. This nasty scam's been going for years now under different source numbers. Recorded message (this time in good English) says there's a warrant for your arrest for unpaid tax etc.

Recorded message said there was an AFP warrant for an unpaid tax bill. I called the number back from a land line and a male with an Indian accent answered claiming he was sending papers to my local court house without even knowing who he was speaking to.

Message was a robot saying that i had a warrant for my arrest frim the afp as the ato had put through a complaint about me

Recorded voice. Started “Australian Federal Police “.....
I hung up as soon as I recognised scam Bs.

Claiming to be from the Austn Taxation Office, regarding unpaid taxes and a warrant that will be issued for my arrest if I ignore their message. Guess I'm on the lamb now.

Message left - claiming to be ATO,threatening arrest for tax fraud !!!

The VoIP provider for this number is www.symbionetworks.com and I know this because I use www.freecarrierlookup.com to find out. I suggest everyone call Symbio Networks (phone number is on their website) and maybe Symbio Networks will stop the scammers. The scammers have to pay to use Symbio Networks VoIP service so Symbio Networks are making a profit from the scammers, which is why they don't want to stop the scammers, but people power can win if enough of us ring Symbio Networks.
