Said it was a call from Telstra, that internet was going to be cut off to fix hacking. Said I needed to down load files to my computer to stop ransom ware. Is a scam

He said his name was Jordan Murphy from Telstra and same as above my internet was going to be disconnected . I said I was going to check the number and he should call back in 10 mins which he did. He had a very strong Indian accent. Hardly a Jordan Murphy.

Said he was going to disconnect our internet because of hacking. When he found out it was a business he said "oh okay then I won't do it in that case"

Called from this number claiming to be from Telstra and needed to download some files on my computer to stop people hacking our internet account.

Claimed to be Telstra and said that I needed to log on and give them information because our internet was being used by hackers.

This is a scam number claims to be from a charity and gets people to purchase Woolworths gift cards then phones back to ask for the number on the back of the card so that he can claim the cash.
