Received call from Indian speaking person, telling me the computer had errors. The computer is in top order, with good Antivirus etc. My number was also unlisted?

An Indian sounding lady saying she was from Microsoft called a few times on the one day to get me to respond to her requests regarding the error faults that were being logged by my computer. I know its a scam I do not use any Microsoft products. She did give me her number and I am happy that I did not get scammed.

I have been getting the same calls for two weeks now, alarm bells rang when I asked for an address to deal with them in person and he replied with "this is only an online process so I'm sending you a form now to do a one-time payment" after refusing the service and saying I have no type of credit cards to pay for the service anyway he still insisted I give him my card details, yeah right! I hung up and switched off my laptop that instant! Another dead give away was the background noise..Someone was watching tv full ball along with other people yelling for some reason! Total scam!!

Andrew saying he was from Windows Management called yesterday say we had a virus. He was very annoyed I would not do as he wanted. I put my husband on to the phone who is a Technician. Andrew told my husband he was not qualified to do the procedures he wanted us to do. We have had these calls before but they usually say they are from Microsoft. I asked he what suburb in Sydney he was calling from, surprise, surprise he did not know and became very angry with me.

Same case as rob, someone called from India to tell my family they have a problem with their computer and that they are from "Windows Management Services".

2.30pm est. Lady rang back and asked me if I called that number. I told her I was seeing my Tech. first to see what hehas to say. She said the tech. has no authority to delve into Windows. I asked her what city that phone number was and she hung up..again.
