Called my mobile phone and used their typical energy/gas deal approach. Female voice, thick accent. She started syphoning for details and information. When asked where I live, I replied, "I'm homeless". I was then offered to live with her. She asked how I would travel to her house, but ended the call shortly after me saying "This is a weird phone call".

Just got a missed call from this number and they left a dodgy voicemail which I could not understand or listen properly. Will block this number for sure! Thank you for the warnings.

Picked up once and got a heavily accented Indian gentleman asking me 21 questions about my electricity bills as my area got chosen for special discounts. I said I still live at home and he asked what time he could call and speak to my folks. I made the mistake of saying 6pm the next day and have had since had 3-4 calls missed from this number every couple of days. Have saved it as 'DO NOT ANSWER'.

Yeah just rang me and offered me 100 discount. Will not be answering this call again.

Just had a call from them and they sound shonky. Just said not interested and hung up. Same story as above offering electricity discounts and $50 credit. May call my supplier and ask.

I'm on holidays and was awoken by a call from these guys, I ignored it because I'm in Melbs and they are Sydney however they seem to call a lot. Is there a way to have these f's reprimanded for cold calling... I'm sick of it and sick of being woken up by them, what gives them the right and how the f did they get my number. Can the government act on this stuff. Whatever happened to that number that you could register with that made it illegal for these guys to cold call you?

I received a call from this number claiming to be from "Electricity Discounts" in Sydney, NSW. I live in Brisbane and was immediately hesitant. The caller spoke about "deals" and "savings of 15% off my electricity bill over the next 12 months. In addition, he excitedly added that I would also receive an extra $50 off my bills. He proceeded to ask general questions about my usage to see if I am eligible (which coincidently I was). I am always hesitant with these "deals" and began to question him. He became upset and demanded he know why I wasn't going ahead with the deal. I explained to him I was at work and not aware of the "deals" or anything about his company. He got a bit aggressive and started yelling so I just hung up! Very good sales approach there mate! I am a little worried because they have my address. I rang the number and a recorded message said "Welcome to Tru Energy". Hmmm......

Just got a call from this number, claiming to be from AGL with discounts for 'my area' and then asked whether I am in Victoria (I'm not). Thick accent, sounded suss.

They called me and asked if this was a bad time and I said yes because I am a tradie.

And they talked about discount rates on my gas bill.

Just tried to call me, I missed it and googled the number, will ignor, thanks for the heads up
