Phone rang to our as yet unused office number. I set the record function going and answered the call "My name is Max and I am calling you from (indecipherable)" I asked him to repeat but our phone system "beeped" indicating I was recording the call and Max immediately hung up.

Claimed to represent Telstra to inform me about internet issues in my area. Hung up after I said "I found 11 complaints about this number"

Claimed to be from the Security department of Visa Mastercards

Called several times within a minute. I answered, then heard a "click" followed by a man asking "hello?". I could hear call centre sounds in the background. Assume scammer.

Caller: Claiming to be bank of Queensland

This person asked me if I opened a bank account for bank of told me my date of birth when I said no it wasn’t. He told me f*ck you and hung up very rude and threatening

Scam Re Amazon account

I answered the call and the person asked for me by name. I asked who was calling and they said “I am from a solar company. Do you have solar panels?” I said “Which solar company are you from?” Called sounded annoyed and said “Do you have panels or not?!” I didn’t reply and hung up. Several seconds later received another call from a different number (02) 8091 4030. I didn’t answer and no message was left.

This scam is so transparent that my phone didn't even bother ringing, just kicked the call straight to voicemail. Waste all the money you want harassing people with nuisance calls, but stop wasting my time. BEGONE
