rang back and it said "the number you have called is disconnected"so---another one to add to the blocked list

Male, foreign accent. I had to say 'Hello" several times before he answered. Claimed to be a company to stop 'scam calls' !!! So funny. He was one of them. I hung up and tried ringing the number back. "This call could not be connected". So over these so called people wasting my valuable time. Have to get up early to bet me. Get a real job. Scum

Foreign male said he was from "Do-Not-Call-Register" - SCAM

(02) 6477 6974 - Claiming to be from ATO, found a default in my Tax and need to contact them to prevent further action including jail (!). Press 1 to connect.

Multiple calls, nearly every day...also (02) 6974 5492 and every day an 09-prefix number.

(02) 6974 5858 rang my landline and mobile at exactly the same time! SCAM!!!!

Claimed to be from Telstra and said I was "being hacked".

Caller: Telstra Technical Department

Scammer claims to be Telstra technical department ( gathering credit card details to clear out your bank account) You would think that Telstra would disconnect this phone line and stop this illegal activity, but no, they pay their phone bill (thousands of scam calls every day) and Telstra is making money. Not so good for the hundreds of people who have just been scammed out of their hard earned savings. Mabey we need a royal commission enquiry into Telstra. They are no better than the banks.

Claiming to be from Telstra about internet. As soon as I heard this I hung up & added the number to my scam ID callers

Caller: Female then put through to male

Claimed from Telstra, about my computer or internet being hacked. Scam call and got angry when I accused him of this.

Foreign accent female claiming to be from the DO NOT CALL REGISTER. Asked me if I'd recently added my details to the do not register which I replied YES. She then said in order for her to finalise my request & to ensure I definately no longer received unwanted calls she needed me to confirm the expiry date of my credit card!!!! What the hell!! I said why on earth would you need such details to complete this request, she waffled on & on about madam please understand this is not a scam etc etc etc.... I ended up hanging up!! I received a call from exact same phone number today & just didn't answer. Tried calling back & it said the number called is not connected!

The number keeps calling but when I return the call the number is disconnected.

Male caller with accent saying he is from Telstra - told him I didn't understand anything about the internet when he said my computer was compromised & he would have to talk to my partner.

Female voice. Claimed to be calling form Telstra Technical Department. Obvious Scam call, using the usual script.

Multiple calls per day. I never answer. Could just tell it wouldn't be worth my time. Googled the number and sure enough. Listed here and elsewhere.

Why when I post here do my replies never show up. I have followed this up as I have had multiple calls from these idiots. Im not rewriting that long post again as I bet even this wont appear.. This site is a waste of time. [24 hours later]

Not the first time they've called. Indian male from do not call register wanting credit card verification.
