Could you please tell me why maintenance work has to be carried out in school holidays.Mon to Mon of second week Victoria Park still closed. Supposedly water pressure cleaning . I have had visitors visiting the area and twice we have attempted to visit and support this last remaining remnant of local rain forest. Surely this could be done not in peak visiting times.

I would like to raise attention to the Aboriginal Boora Boora ring in Gibbon Street Lennox Head. This is a very special area for Indigenous people and the culture. The park has many banksias and native fauna, however, it is being overcome by noxious weeds of many kinds. I would like to request urgent attention to this area and that Alstonville National Parks assess and address this area as a matter of urgency

I wish to notify the Alstonville office of NPWS of the presence of a small group of Indian Miner birds that have now invaded the rifle range rd area in Wollongbar, adjacent to the old drive-in theatre. There is considerable new road works being carried out along this stretch, but the birds frequent this area. I have great concerns as to the presence of these birds as I know they are very invasive and can deter the nesting and habitat of local native birds. I am hoping that the NPWS have a committment to trap and eradicate these destructive birds. I look forward to your reply with a positive result.
