Claiming to be Telstra and my internet is to be disconnected.

Claimed to be from Telstra and noted 'illegal activity' and would be disconnected.

Claiming to be from ATO and I was about to be arrested. Total crap.

Caller: Scammer.

Woman with an accent saying she was calling from Telstra about my internet connection. She had my name. When I said I was with another provider she disconnected straight away. Googled the phone number and it came up straight away as a scammer.

On answering.the phone they didn't respond and after about 20 seconds they hung up.

SCAM

Caller: A lady with an accent

Called and claimed to be Telstra and said that the internet connection was to be cut off due to illegal activity. I asked her what device and she hung up. Tried to call back the number and it said it wasn't found.

Caller: He said his name was Mark

My internet connection is being used for illegal activity and will be disconnected tomorrow. He was offended when I laughed at him. He was reading from a script and had nothing more to say on the subject. I told him he was talking bullsh*t. It is only six days since the same number was used to get to me. But this was a different caller.

Caller: Cultured Australian Female

Telstra advising that both my land line and my internet will be disconnected tomorrow as is it 18 months since NBN came to my area. I can negotiate by pressing 1. There were 8 attempts to get to me in one afternoon whilst I was out. I have three of them recorded.

Same here. Gave me a Telstra ID No AUDPEL1997 whatever that means
