They are still actively scamming people. A friend got a call today, very aggressive and threatening arrest. We have lodged an official scam report with the ATO. Please be aware and block this number.

Robo caller claiming to be the ATO and threatening proceedings if I didn’t pay monies owed. However we have people from the ATO that have responded on 21Nov18. The ATO is the Government and Law of Australia. If the ATO cannot stop these fraudulent scammers, prosecute and jail them, who can?

I have had 3 calls from this number and now the same recording is coming through with No Caller ID. It is 100% a scam.

Prerecorded message from “Australian Tax Office” threatening proceedings if I didn’t pay monies owed. Had to press 1 to speak to an operator, a real voice said hello then they hung up. A quick call to my accountant confirms many people are getting these scam calls, and no, I don’t owe any money.
