Caller: Lady's voice saying there is a warrant to arrest me

Yes, this is a scammer phone. They call and quickly say that person answering has a warrant for arrest for non payment of Australian Taxes and demand they call back immediately for further information.
When they (with an Indian accent) call back scammer keeps talking giving various reasons why the innocent person transfer payment to a account number. If they delay to pay, scammer says that the Police will come at the door to arrest the innocent party.
It is unbelievable that Australian Authorities are unable trace the culprits. Since transfer account numbers are known.
Hopefully they catch these culprits and deal with the with full power of Australian law.

SCAM SCAM I rejected the call, so they left message about my account "marked lien for tax avoidation ?" Not sure what avoidation is? Very Interesting, will see what happens if they ring again?

I've recieved the phone call threathing about a court case being filed I called them back they gave me a number ref no and suggested Marshall officer to call me and explain the situation

I received a phone call from this number yesterday stating that a legal action is going to be lodged against me and was suggested to call back in the same number. i called back, it was ringing but nobody picked up the phone.

I also left message on the scam site.

Pre recored voice message, claiming to before immigration and border security protection, gives the officers name ,asking to call back on this number and quote a given reference no.
to avoid any legal action.

I got a call from this number same computer generated a message, a police officer Jack is taking legal action against me. Is it a scam or true? not sure

Called and left a computer generated message saying they were from the Australian government immigration department and that I'm being sued and need to call them back before the situation escalates

I too got a missed call from this number and when I called back the man said he was from Department of Immigration and that I would be booked for criminal offence unless Ipaid up.

Yes, I also received such a call twice.

Received an automated voice message stating it was the immigration dept of border control and charges had been made against me. There was a reference number given, and this phone number (02) 6176 1245. When I tried to ring back there was heavy delays in response from the person who answered (perhaps they were actually overseas but tapping into an aussie number, who knows..)
Anyway, SCAM, ignore, don't even bother calling them back...

Yes, I received a call from this number too and a voice mail left (seems like computer generated) stating that a legal action had been lodged against me (no name & details). This is a scam call please don't fall prey and safeguard your details...
