The message left on my home phone answering machine, was threatening that police would be knocking on my door and my credit file would be affected if I did not call them back. Literally those words. The number that called me was (02) 6176 1112. Which would be a Sydney number. When I called back, no answer. If anyone knows who it is, could you let me know as I wish to report them to the authorities because its against the law to threaten people, especially with false claims.

Received an ATO scam call from this number. I called the ATO and they confirmed the number is not one of their numbers. I called the scam number back and told them that I had confirmation this number was a scam and didn't exist - they hung up pretty quickly and wouldn't answer when I called them again.

I just took a call from this number purporting to be the ATO - I just laughed and hung up. Don't ring them back.

Was using the wrong language such as 'dragged into court' and 'put behind bars'
Indian caller...
Just tell them you are recording this call also and handing it to Federal Police
