FRAUDULENT CALL: I received an automated call with an English accent, saying I've defrauded the ATO, which is impossible. In any case, the ATO will never call requesting you return the call to a common number--ATO uses a national number, 13 28 61. Blocked.

Recorded message claiming to be the ATO, funny as they really don’t understand the ATO doesn’t send letters when they have your phone number... total scam, was tempted to call up and claim that I was a tax exempt religious entity to mess with them!

14/May/2018 - When returned the call - they claimed to be a dominos pizza location and quickly hung up.

People pretending to be the ato and asking for money

My husband got a call from this number claiming the ATO had done an audit and he owed $2486. They told him if he didn't got to a bank and pay it today, they'd issue a warrant for his arrest. Unfortunately, he bought the con. Sigh! I really hope no one else gets caught by these lowlifes!!!

SCAMMER! I just received a call from them as wel, it was an automated voice telling it's the ATO and I've been done for tax avoidance and there's a warrant for my arrest, and telling me to call them back on the same number they called. I was a bit confused and don't wanna get arrested so checked out the number via Google first, got this site. So glad I didn't call back after reading these comments! Don't call back!
