Scam call - a recorded message saying that if you don't call back on this number then an arrest warrant will be issued on your name.

I had a recorded message left saying I there was an arrest warrant issued against me for tax evasion.
When I rang it I got a woman who called herself Lezlie Miller. She was extremely aggressive & said that I owed $97,000 to the ATO & if I did not pay immediately I would be arrested the next day.
It was absolutely awful & even tho I knew it must be a scam it made me feel sick!
Who are these hideous people & how do they get our numbers?

Call to my mobile from (02) 6172 0487. Did not answer as did not recognise number. Voicemail left. Automated male American voice said from ATO Long diatribe re tax fraud action against family. Asked to call them on (02) 6100 3692. Obvious scam

Someone called 15/10 - found message on my phone saying I had to call this number asap and a warrant being issued for my arrest
How do they get the phone numbers?

Had the same voice message left on my mobile phone today from this number. I return the call where I was told that an arrest warrant had been issued and that I was now wanted by the AFP. Report has been made to ACCC.

Filthy rotten scammers, I say send the pricks around to arrest me!

If I ever get my hands on one these low lives, I will most likely give them a real reason to arrest me!

Receive this call today saying calling from ATO about a lawsuit under my name, need me to call back or else they will issue an arrest warrant and also quote their phone number again...

Message said to ring (02) 6172 0127 otherwise an arrest warrant would be issued. I rang the number, got an indian voice, asked him which organisation this was, i could hardly understand him and asked him to repeat, thought he said ITO, asked him to tell me who ITO were and he told me to 'go to hell', tried ringing back several times all via a landline, not mobile, and they kept hanging up on me. These are definitely SCAM sh*tes

Just received phone call saying a law suit being filed against me. Was a very robotic voice. Sounded like a scam and hung up.

Thanks, i just received a message on my voicemail today saying this exact thing....

Received a robot call saying I had an arrest warrant and that the AFP was after me for fraud, tax evasion and more. If I go against the ATOs claim against me I should spend up to 99 grand in court fees and risk 5 years in prison. Should I accept the ATOs claim and charges against me I should pay 4.5 grand and live free. when I called back the caller Identified herself as Lezlie Miller (strong indian/sri lankan accent) even gave me her badge number! I could hear in the back gorund other people on the phone with the same "arrest warrant" thing...
