I got thesamecall from a Robbie indicating the same thing...and the stupid showThread did not realise that he called the number twice and gave different numbers...(02) 6152 8663 and (02) 6152 8674.. Question here is are you guys with DODO because ever since we changed we've beengetting all kinds of sh*theads....

ATO Scam phone call. When they called i hung up, they called back almost immediatley and i let it go to the answering machine. Was a pretty abusive phone call saying they were from the ATO and i was going to be sued for tax fraud and i must phone (02) 6152 8764 within the day or suffer the concequences. The guy sounded asian and was not convincing enough to even take seriously.

I am so grateful to find all of these posts. I just got a call from Robbie too. Thought it was a scam but glad to find out so easily it was.

I received a call today that went to my answering machine, from a guy claiming to be Robbie King from the ATO, and threatening us with legal action for tax fraud.
Thanks to this website, it's confirmed what I suspected....that it's a scam.

my 2nd crazy call whilst visiting Hobart for a 3 week holiday..the first telling me my internet was to be disconnected in the next hour for 2-3 weeks because of hackers with an accent so thick you could barely understand him calling himself david wilson.. today a call from the ATO saying i was going to be charged with tax evasion and fraud (rolls the eyes) and to phone (02) 6152 8674, shame the caller didn't answer when i phoned back, lol a guy with that accent called robbie? . lets see what tomorrow brings!!!!!

just got a call from robbie king stating legal action is pending for tax fraud and tax evasion. Told to ring back on (02) 6152 8674.

Just got the ATO on the phone as well threatening legal action. Mine said to call back (02) 6152 8663

Got another call from Robbie today, different phone number. He is now using (02) 6152 8662 as well as the above numbers.

Got this simpering moron Robbie King ring me twice on the answering machine ,after getting off the floor from laughing so loud I had hopped to speak to low life in person.His numbers (02) 6152 8674 and (02) 6140 3471 SCAM,

ATO Scam phone call - Same thing here got a message on our answering machine from a guy called "Robby King" (strong accent) pretending to be from the Australian Taxation Office, stating they have " filed legal petition against my name" - threatening with legal consequences and that I was going to be sued for tax fraud if not responding to ATO hotline on (02) 6152 8674 on the same day etc...then wishing me a blessed day!!! ;-))

Just got this bullsh*t phone message stating the same scam! I am going to call him and give him hell then pass on these phone details to my brother who works on fraud cases at the DPP! Btw terrible attempt at an Aussie / American accent!!! Was going between the two!!!

We had a message left on our landline from this character Robbie King saying he was from the ATO ....... Same rubbish to ring back (02) 6152 8674 urgently because we had been reported for tax fraud. The voice was so dopey with a bit of an American accent. How stupid do they think we are! Be careful don't speak to him! It's a stupid scam.

Yep - he's still at it - got my call from Robbie King today!!! Loser! Watch out for him!

Thanks for the info thought I would do this search as got the message today threatening legal action if did not contact the ATO hotline (02) 6152 8674 by the end of the day. Concerning tax fraud etc., then wishing me a nice day !!

as the tax department said if you owe us money we'll know where to find you as they know everythimg ....robbie king even now is putting on a fake aussie accent i think he has been watching too much crocodile dundee

Same again here. Left a message on our answering machine to call (02) 6152 8680 by the end of the day or face the consequences. My son called as he was very concerned, time for some life lessons.

Robbie - is a scammer.... He threatened to have me arrested. Ato should hunt him down and throw him into jail. Beware!!!!! May he have paback karma.
