On 2 consecutive days in Sept 2017, I got 1 call from each of 3 different numbers:(02) 6145 0273, (02) 6145 0274 and (02) 6140 3463.

They all had the same recorded mssg of a male with American accent saying that he is Matthew Clark from Aust Tax Office and there is a lawsuit pending, and I must call back this number, and I must not ignore his mssg.

I don't believe that it was from the ATO as they would normally ask for a person by name and ask for ID details before saying what the phone call was about.

Same. Said federal police had warrant out for my arrest due to tax fraud. Wanted to know who did my tax returns. Myself or accountant, said federal police would explain further when they served my warrant.

Have started getting these numbers as well. Was others numbers, but they appear to have changed as a lot of people hanging up on them :-)

I got a call from same number as this but ending 0273 yesterday with recorded message from ATO about something time sensitive and mentioned law suit. I blocked the number and now received call from this number and declined the call & blocked the number.

On 14 Sept 2017, I got a call from (02) 6145 0274 and left a voice message of a male with American accent saying that he is Officer Matthew Clark from Australian Tax Office and there is a lawsuit pending, and I must call back this hotline number, and I must not disregard his message.

Always try to scary with some so called legal issues. BS!!!!

They called claiming to be from thr ATO and when I didn't answer them they called me a mother fu..er. stay away.
