They wished me good luck if I didn't call back LOL

Just had a message on home phone, saying im facing hard and legal action. Most obvioulsy a scam, im hoping they dont get an unsuspecting person.

Message to text read "To inform you that there's a serious lawsuit file against your name. The issue at hand is very time sensitive the very second you receive this message." (sic)
Yeah nah.

left a threatening message on my 60+yo mums answering machine that if she didn't call back immediately there would be dire consequences. it was a recorded message not an actual person talking.....scammers frightening elders what scum.

The end of the message says, 'Good luck'. I don't think the ATO would say that!

Recorded message from ATO telling me to call back. No doubt dire consequences if I don't. I know how ATO calls go and this isn't it. Definitely a scam.

Looks like I got the same message this morning. American woman threatening legal consequences if I didn't return the call then said 'good luck'!

Just had a phone call, definitely recorded or computer generated voice. ATO !! legal action against me!! Another scam using an Australian number!!

haha he asked if my name was such and such and I said no I am married but you would know that if you were tax office,i said don't call my number with scam d*ckhead and I will be reporting you

rECEIVED A CALL THIS Morning on my answering machine, subject my gold card - if i don't call this lady with an Americant accent there will be consequences. S G A M.

Female voice with American accent left a message on my home phone saying that a serious law suit had been filed against me (words used were "your name") and that it was very time sensitive and serious legal consequences would happen if it did not call her department back on (02) 6145 0134 as soon as I got the message. Then ended message with "good luck"

Authorities should be shutting these scams down

another soft rooster(SOFT COCK)told my wife we owe money to the tax office.funny thing is we furnish our tax returns every year and both got refunds in the last 2 months.to the cold caller go and get f*cked you are a bloody loser and get a honest job and not a bull sh*t job.

Perth WA. Today 04/04/2017 Scammers called and left a message on the land line phone. (02) 6145 0134 A lady with a thick Phillipino (American style English) accent. Call this number or there will consequences etc etc

Recorded ATO message threatening legal action, (SCAM) decided hunging up was the best coarse of action.

Tax scam! Do not ring back this number. The tax office doesn't operate this way. Wish they would try this face to face.....
