Scam pretending to be ATO, threatening police will be at door step if no call back is received.

same thing. Recorded computer voice saying they are from some Commonwealth Lawyers thing, if I do not want police at my door I must call them back. The number came up as 061261721098. Most likely it is (02) 6172 1098 which is traced to Canberra. I would not call them back....maybe they can use your mobile number somehow for identity theft.

Please remember that the ATO will not threaten with police or legal action and do not comply with whoever rings claiming they require immediate payment.

Told me to call back or I would have the police turn up at home or at my work. When I tried to call back the line was always busy.

Called to advise my ATO account had a payout for $1022 and I needed to give Debit card details over the phone to receive the funds.
Upon my questioning of details he swore at me an hung up!!!

Received electronic voice message from this number requesting call back. Wasn't entirely clear, but sounded like it said police would show up at my home or workplace and I had to call back.

Claims they are federal police and they will arrest unless you call a number...

Pretty sure this was a SCAM call.
Automated message asking me to call back (the same number), saying something about a FINAL WARNING.

Upon calling back, the person knew my name and said they were from the ATO, that they needed my card details to refund me. Yeah, right

This is a recorded voice, on a number out of YASS ACT. I have had a few of these and they say its the ATO calling and to avoid arrest etc, please call back. I didn't listen to the whole message. blocked.

A recorded message threatened that if we did not respond a police office would come to the house.
